While scholars have recently started to connect ORGANIZATIONAL factors in preparing a firm for corporate entrepreneurship to ORGANIZATIONAL outputs such as financial and innovative performance, there is less understanding of the mechanisms explaining these connections and their boundary conditions. In this vein, this study theorizes how and when ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS for Corporate Entrepreneurship (OPCE) enhances corporate financial and innovative performance. Our observation of 256 firms in the food industry of Iran indicates that OPCE promotes financial and innovative performance through the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation. Moreover, the relationship between OPCE and ORGANIZATIONAL outputs is stronger when firms perceive their business environment more dynamic. This provides a better understanding of the way firms can enhance their performance, in particular in the novel context of Iran as a developing country.

Background and Aim: Employees suggestion plan (ESP) is designed to encourage and improve employees’ participation in developmental planning. The establishment of this system needs cultural, individual and structural PREPAREDNESS.This study is aimed to determine ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS in Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).Materials and Methods: This research was a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study conducted in TUMS headquarters in Tehran, Iran. The heterogeneous sample of this study consisted of 155 employees. They were asked to fill out a researcher-made questionnaire to assess their attitude towards ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS for ESP establishment. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were confirmed. The data were analyzed by SPSS, and descriptive results were presented. The data were also analyzed by Friedman and ANOVA statistical methods.Results: Most of the employees had a positive attitude towards the existence of individual and cultural PREPAREDNESS for ESP establishment in TUMS. However, they believed the desired structural PREPAREDNESS for this process did not exist.Conclusion: The desired ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS for ESP establishment exists in TUMS, although structural PREPAREDNESS is not desirable. Therefore, it is suggested that necessary modifications should be made in TUMS ORGANIZATIONAL structure for effective ESP implementation.

AbstractPurpose: The velocity of change in the surrounding world has forced them to identify those factors which impact their change capacity. The present study was conducted to identify and prioritize influential factors on ORGANIZATIONAL change capacity.Methodology: In terms of purpose, this was explorative and applied research. Its population included ten familiar experts with research subjects in a research and training center. By reviewing the literature on change capacity, relevant, influential factors were identified, and they were concurred by the fuzzy Delphi technique, and then they were ranked. After recognizing influential factors, a pair comparisons questionnaire was distributed among ten experts, and after gathering the questionnaires, effecting factors were ranked using the Expert Choice11 Software package and AHP technique.Findings: Results show that ORGANIZATIONAL culture, structure, and style of leadership were the main factors that impacted change capacity.Conclusion: The influential factors can be divided into three categories: environmental, content, and structural elements. Environmental factors include environment and innovation; content factors include team working, intellectual capital, leadership, political behavior, and human resource management; Structural elements include strategy, structure, ORGANIZATIONAL policies, information technology, knowledge management, and technology. Value: This is the first time in the literature that the influential variables affecting the change capacity were recognized and categorized in a conceptual classification that has not been seen in the previous research.

This conceptual paper argues the need for narrative PREPAREDNESS, understood as the ability to engage and empathize with peoples’ stories and the values they encode, assess them based on the universe in which people live, and acknowledge the narrative rationality of each story – even when it conflicts with the rationality of science. Expanding ‘health PREPAREDNESS’ to encompass ‘narrative PREPAREDNESS’ complements the ideals of patient centeredness, which are sometimes betrayed when implemented into concrete decisions because the rationality of science that underpins medical practice fails to make sense of patients’ stories. We outline the central tenets of narrative PREPAREDNESS and demonstrate its relevance by discussing various responses to mainstream discourses on COVID-19 as a case in point. We discuss and further develop Fisher’s narrative paradigm, which provides a model that complements traditional, scientific rationality with attention to narrative rationality and a radical democratic ground for health political critique. Applying the narrative paradigm to authentic examples of vaccine hesitancy and anti-vaccination demonstrates how closer attention to the way narratives are assessed by different constituencies might help us mitigate some of the sources of resistance and misunderstanding that continue to plague public communication about important medical issues such as pandemics. Health authorities must acknowledge and engage with the stories people believe in and their reasons for doing so. The crucial question for the success of health policy interventions is not only ‘what are the facts’ but ‘how do these facts make sense to people, and why.’ To be prepared for the next pandemic, health professionals must learn to engage with people’s stories and the processes by which they come to be understood and assessed differently by various constituencies.

Therefore, in this research has been tried review the effects of ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS Corporate Entrepreneurship on Innovation performance and Financial Performance with mediating variable of Entrepreneurial Orientation in active organizations in the food industry in Tehran. The present study due to its objective is practical and terms of methodology, descriptive correlational. With simple random sampling were selected 254 organizations as an example. For data analysis were used structural equation modeling technique and Smart PLS2 software. The results indicate that the ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS corporate entrepreneurship variable has a positive and significant effect on financial performance and innovation performance. Also, entrepreneurial orientation variable has a positive and significant effect on innovation and financial performance. The effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the relationship between ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS corporate entrepreneurship and innovation and financial performance was confirmed.
